I wrote a story that I submitted on https://blog.reedsy.com/creative-writing-prompts/contests/82/submissions/56050/ from the prompt: Write about an android just trying to blend in with their human companions.

At first, I read through the prompts and nothing at all came to mind for either prompt. After a few days passed, I read them again and suddenly, like a limb smacking you in the face in thick brush, the story formed in my head.

I took an approach that I wasn’t sure even was what it meant, but I wrote it and it was accepted.
